[I can't put this on xanga because then everyone would read it an d word would spread like Northern California wildfires]
I know that we left each other on rather negative terms. We were both equally confused and hurt in the end because it was something neither of us knew about. I acknowledge that you're the person I would have called my "boyfriend" if certain circumstances never came to play. You've been in the back of my mind all year, even though I resigned my friendship at the end of the summer. However, I'm grateful that we've both forgiven each other recently.
Evidently, there is reason to believe you have completely moved on. After learning of this, I was a little dented inside, not because I was jealous, but because it made me feel like I was forgettable. That was just an initial reaction, but I am truly happy that you've been met with such good fortune and I wish you the best of luck for everything. Because deep down I've always cared about you, I want you to succeed and to be happy, even if I'm no longer involved in your life directly. I guess we both learned a lot from our experience and even though it didn't turn out the way we wanted, we both got a little something out of it. Take care and have a kick ass time in college.
Love you and miss you,
Susan

We say to those who are in love,
It can't be true `cause we're too young
